Brake Repairs
Brakes are the one of the most important safety factor in your car. When you need your brakes serviced you cannot afford to make any mistakes. It makes sense to use the highest quality new brake parts. One of the easiest ways to tell if they’re working is to check your brake warning light. If it’s on, they need attention. Another sign to listen out for is noisy brakes. Noisy brakes indicate the possibility of worn brake pads or linings. If your car is displaying this warning sign, get it checked immediately to save money on damaged disc rotors.
Disc & Drum Machining
If you find that your vehicle has a steering wheel shudder or a pulsating brake pedal when slowing down, more than likely your brake discs or rotors will be warped or not running true. After thousands of braking applications disc rotors wear, and usually unevenly. For effective braking, new brake pads should fit flush against the disc rotor. That’s why your disc rotors should be machined The smoother the surface of the disc rotor, the more efficient the braking. So when new brake pads are fitted, machining of disc rotors ensures maximum braking efficiency.
Let us take the worry out of efficient braking system in your car. Machining of the brake drum is a vital part of completing the brake job. The drum can be very glazed and shiny like a mirror, the glaze is removed once the drum is machined, therefore allowing the new brake shoes to bite into the drum and do the job 100% . At AARC we are able to machine brake drums of various sizes.

If your vehicle uses the old type gas, we can fit it without expensive retrofitting. If you are having your air-conditioning re-gassed consider the benefit of having a special dye put into your system. This dye can be put into your air-conditioning system and leaks can be detected easier using an ultraviolet light. We use the most up-to-date equipment so there is no mistakes made, and no problems later.
Air con compressors use oil for lubricant. Just as the car engine needs oil changes, so does your A/C compressors. See us for a service to prolong your compressor life & keeping temperatures cool.
Suspension/Steering Repairs

Whether your suspension requirements are for covering the family commuting vehicle, the workhorse or the recreational escape machine, not to forget the high performance dream machine, let AARC take care of your vehicles suspension. Tyres
You should never compromise on safety. And that’s particularly true when it comes to passenger car tyres. A good quality car tyre will perform better than a cheaper import in critical areas such as wet weather braking and road holding. If an underrated tyre is fitted to your vehicle, in the case of an accident you may be liable for negligence. Tyres have a code system moulded into their sidewall which allows you to understand their technical capabilities. This code provides information on the tyre’s construction (e.g. radial), its size, its load-carrying capacity and its speed rating.
For example, the code on a common fitment for Australian cars is: 205/65R15 95H 205- indicates the nominal section width of the tyre in millimetres (205mm).
- 65 -indicates its aspect ratio, a comparison of the tyre’s section height with its section width (65 indicates the height is 65% of its width).
- R -indicates radial ply construction. 15 -indicates the nominal diameter of the wheel rim (15 inches) 95 -His a symbol indicating the maximum load capacity and speed at which the tyre can be safely operated, subject to the tyre being in sound condition, correctly fitted, and with recommended inflation pressures (95 represents a maximum load of 690kg per tyre;
- H represents a maximum speed of 210km/h).
AARC proudly stocks and supplies the most trusted brands of tyres in the world such as Kumho, Toyo, Goodride etc. We can also supply a large range of retread tyres to suit your budget.
